This is a 3 page set of 1:2 scale plans of to help you build your own foldable bowl horse. The plans walk you through the basic steps and critical details of the project. They include a cutting list, material notes, and scaled part drawings.

This design is was inspired by the creations of many talented woodworkers including Dave Fisher, Tim Manney, and Dawson Moore.

This seated clamping device offers versatility to any aspiring or accomplished bowl carver. Clamping your work with a foot operated treadle allows you utilize a draw knife to put final details on wooden, bowls and cups. It can be put to use for other applications as well. This versatile shop furniture is designed to fold flat so you can hang it neatly on the wall when not in use. This feature also makes this tool conveniently packable. As drawn this bowl horse can clamp bowls up to 18”. If you intend to make larger work the base rails and horse rails can easily made longer.
